LAUNCH LECI TEENAGER PROGRAMME
LECI has expanded its range of courses to include working with Teenagers. On Thursday, December 17th 2009 we departed on a Transition Year Santa Cycle from Dublin to Cork. This initiative combined putting into action the skills and tools explored during class based work with achievement and success in the real life context. Students (from Maynooth Post Primary and Castleknock College) also engaged in fund raising for a number of charities, including the Chernobyl Children’s Project. This innovative cycle challenge was also eligible as part of the GAISCE President’s Awards.
